*My Tiger '09* Manage My Golfers Options Stats and Leaderboards Tutorials EA SPORTS Extras Here you can edit options for your preferences, check out statistics and other things.
If you beat a challenge, you will get EA points, which aren't too useful except to collect achievements.
A box pops up telling you what variables you want in your game.
Hitting the RB Button in the lobby, you will get the Games List.
One Ball Golfers: 2-4 All players share a single ball, and each player alternatively shoots until the ball is holed. Cheating is prevented by forcing you to hit it within a radius around the hole or you lose a turn. Mini Games ********************* Target Golfers: 1 You are given 20 balls to hit targets around an area. The closer you hit them to the bullseye, the harder it is for your opponent to claim it from you. Putting Contest Golfers: 2 You have three chances to sink a putt. Approach Contest Golfers: 2 You have three chances to hit a shot from the fairway to the pin. Closest to the Pin Golfers: 2 You have three chances to hit a shot from off the green to the pin. Long Drive Contest Golfers: 2 You have three chances to drive the ball farther than your opponent. XBOX Live ******************** This is where you go to play online against other users.
Battle Golf Golfers: 2 Two players go head to head, and the winner of each hole removes a club from their opponent's bag, or adds one back into their own. R Golfers: 2 The golf version of HORSE, you hit a shot, your opponent has to hit the same shot or he gets a letter added to him. Capture the Flag Golfers: 2 Hit different targets to claim them.
Target to Target Golfers: 1 Like Target, except the game gives you a certain target you have to hit, and you only have five misses available. The best way to find a match is to enter the lobby, and then pick a channel from the options listed.
The closer you get to bullseye, the more money you earn. When you get to this screen, you will have the option of creating a quick match, playing in the Daily Tournament within the "Online Game Modes" option, entering the Lobby, or changing your options.
That covers the main menu, let's go deeper into the game. Game Modes -------------------- In here you will be able to play some of the more basic games without having to worry about game progress, which is good for practice.
When creating your own match, you can pick from various different options.
Once you are in the lobby you can chat with other players, view the games list or create your own match.
However, the boost only lasts for one round so the effort hardly seems worth the trouble, so I recommend ignoring them. You can enter the options menu to change your settings for this.
There are also Custom Drills that you will get after each round. Main Menu -------------------- *Play Now* You can start playing instantly.
